Rocksteady Studios
Rocksteady Studios Limited is a British video game developer based in London. Founded on 13 December 2004, the studio is best known for its work in the ''Batman: Arkham'' series. The company is a subsidiary of Warner Bros. Games. History Rocksteady Studios was founded by Jamie Walker and Sefton Hill, the former creative director and head of production at Argonaut Games. The publisher SCi Entertainment worked with Argonaut Games on the game ''Roll Call'' until the developer shut down in late 2004. Walker and Hill founded Rocksteady on 13 December 2004. In January 2005, SCi announced that it had assigned ''Roll Call'' to the nascent studio, which by that time employeed 20 people, mostly former Argonaut Games staff, at its North London offices. The publisher acquired 25.1% of Rocksteady's shares and loaned the studio . ''Roll Call'' was soon renamed ''Zero Tolerance: City Under Fire'' and then ''Urban Chaos: Riot Response''. The Suicide Squad is an antihero/supervillain team appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The first version of the Suicide Squad debuted in ''The Brave and the Bold'' #25 (September 1959) and the second and modern version, created by John Ostrander, debuted in ''Legends (comics), Legends'' #3 (January 1987). PlayStation VR
The PlayStation VR (PS VR) is a virtual reality headset developed by Sony Interactive Entertainment, which was released in October 2016. The headset works with the company's PlayStation 4 video game console and is forward compatible with PlayStation 5. Sony released its successor, PlayStation VR2, in 2023, having sold at least 5 million PlayStation VR units worldwide. The PlayStation VR has a 5.7 inch OLED panel, with a display resolution of 1080p. The headset also has a processor box which enables the Social Screen video output to the television, as well as process the 3D audio effect, and uses a 3.5mm headphone jack. The headset also has nine positional LEDs on its surface for the PlayStation Camera to track 360 degree head movement. In certain games and demos for the VR, the player wearing the headset acts separately from other players without the headset. Arkham VR
Arkham () is a fictional city situated in Massachusetts, United States. An integral part of the Lovecraft Country setting created by H. P. Lovecraft, Arkham is featured in many of his stories and those of other Cthulhu Mythos writers. Arkham House, a publishing company started by two of Lovecraft's correspondents, August Derleth and Donald Wandrei, takes its name from this city as a tribute. Arkham Asylum, a fictional mental hospital in DC Comics' Batman mythos, is also named after Lovecraft's Arkham. In Lovecraft's stories Arkham is the home of Miskatonic University, which features prominently in many of Lovecraft's works. The institution finances the expeditions in the novellas, ''At the Mountains of Madness'' (1936) and ''The Shadow Out of Time'' (1936).
