''RockaByeBaby'' is the first mixtape by American singer Cassie, released on April 11, 2013, by Bad Boy Records. It was her first full-length project released since her self-titled debut studio album '' Cassie'' (2006). Following the premiere of the track " King of Hearts" in February 2012, which was initially announced as the lead single from her upcoming second studio album, Cassie announced that she would be releasing a mixtape. The mixtape's concept is based on the 1991 film ''New Jack City''. ''Cassie'' is the debut album released by American singer Cassie, released on August 8, 2006, by NextSelection Life Group, Bad Boy Records, and Atlantic Records. Cassie was discovered by record producer Ryan Leslie, who helped her record demo tapes. After Cassie was signed by Diddy, the founder of Bad Boy Records, she continued to work with Leslie who produced the entire album. Da Internz are a production team originating from Chicago, Illinois. The duo is composed of Marcos "Kosine" Palacios and Ernest Tuo Clark. Da Internz describe their sound as "gourmet ratchet", meaning imperfect but excellent. Background Both men state that they were born to make music. Marcos’ mother put him in piano at six years old.
