Robotboy
''Robotboy'' is an animated television series that aired from 1 November 2005 to 27 September 2008 on Cartoon Network (British and Irish TV channel), Cartoon Network in the UK. In the United States, it aired on Cartoon Network, premiering on 14 January 2006, after a sneak peek on 28 December 2005 (under their "Sneak Peek Week" for their new lineup). In France, it aired on France 3. Reruns of the series were broadcast around Europe and Latin America, with fewer exceptions shown in Asia. The series was created by Jan Van Rijsselberge (also a designer) and produced by Gaumont Animation, Alphanim (now Gaumont Animation) at the company's studio in Vincennes. Jan Van Rijsselberge is a Belgian creator, designer and producer, who is credited on multiple animated TV series, including ''Robotboy'', ''Hairy Scary'' and ''Santa's Apprentice''. After getting a diploma in Animation Film Directing in Gent (Belgium), Jan Van Rijsselberge began his career as an animator and a supervisor. In 1996 he co-directed ''Lil' Elvis Jones and the Truckstoppers''. He is best known for founding Spümcø and his work for developing and serving as a showrunner for ''The Ren & Stimpy Show''.
