Geneviève Robic Brunet (born 13 April 1959) is a retired road racing cyclist from Canada. Genny was twice National Road Champion in 1984 and 1987, and twice National Criterium Champion those same years. She represented Canada at two consecutive Summer Olympics, starting in 1984. Ivo Robić (28 January 1923 – 9 March 2000) was a Croatian singer-songwriter. Domestic career Robić began his career as a soloist with the Radio Zagreb Orchestra, while studying at the same time in Zagreb. He performed during World War II on "Krugovalna postaja Zagreb" in an Esplanade hotel in Zagreb, Independent State of Croatia. During his career in what was then Socialist Republic of Croatia, he made more than one hundred records, mostly singles and '' schlagers''. John Robic ( ; born August 10, 1963) is an American men's basketball coach. He most recently served as an assistant men's basketball coach at the University of Kentucky. Prior to joining the Wildcats staff, he served as assistant coach at the University of Memphis and head coach at Youngstown State University. Playing career After graduating from North Hills High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Robic attended Walsh College in Canton, Ohio, before transferring to Denison University in Granville, Ohio, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in speech communication and physical education in 1986. Robic's 1982-83 season at Walsh was during head coach Bob Huggins' last year at the college. Jure Robič (; , Jesenice, Slovenia – , Plavški Rovt) was a Slovenian cyclist and a soldier in the Slovenian Army. He became prominent for his multiple wins in the men's solo category of Race Across America (RAAM). He died on in a head-on collision during training. He was descending on his bike on a narrow mountain forest road in Plavški Rovt near Jesenice in Slovenia and hit an oncoming car. Robič won the Race Across America (RAAM) 5 times (then a record in the men's solo category): in 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008 and 2010. He was in the second place at the final time station in 2009, but dropped out of the race in protest against what he found to be unfair time penalties awarded against him. For example, he received a time penalty for urinating in a non-designated place on the start day of the race, before the race even started.
