Rio Negro, Paraná
Rio Negro is a municipality in the state of Paraná in the South Region of Brazil. Climate The climate is highlands subtropical but with precipitation distributed during the year and therefore can be classified as ''Cfb'' (according with Köppen classification), commonly referred to as oceanic climate. Share features with plateau areas of Paraná and the other states of southern Brazil. The summers are warm and occasionally hot and the winters are cold by Brazilian standards, although short and mild in general. The rainfall is well distributed over 60 mm in the dry month, totaling a total of 1419 mm typical for this climatic category. Snow is rare, but more conducive than Curitiba, for example. South Region, Brazil
The South Region of Brazil (; ) is one of the five regions of Brazil. It includes the states of Paraná, Rio Grande do Sul, and Santa Catarina, and covers , being the smallest region of the country, occupying only about 6.76% of the territory of Brazil. Paraná (state)
Paraná () is one of the 26 states of Brazil, in the south of the country, bordered on the north by São Paulo state, on the east by the Atlantic Ocean, on the south by Santa Catarina state and the province of Misiones, Argentina, and on the west by Mato Grosso do Sul and Paraguay, with the Paraná River as its western boundary line.
