Richardson Clover
Richardson Clover (July 11, 1846 – October 14, 1919) was an officer of the United States Navy. An 1867 graduate of the United States Naval Academy, he was a noted hydrographer, served as Office of Naval Intelligence, Director of Naval Intelligence, and commanded the gunboat during the Spanish–American War. He was socially prominent in Washington, D.C., and served as US Naval Attaché to Great Britain. He commanded the on the Asiatic Station and served as president of the Board of Inspection and Survey. He was promoted to rear admiral in 1907 and retired in 1908. Biography Clover was born in Hagerstown, Maryland, son of Lewis Peter Clover and Sarah Ann Ackerman Clover. His father was an artist who later became an Episcopal minister, serving congregations in Virginia, New Jersey, Illinois, and New York. Richardson Dilworth
Richardson K. Dilworth (August 29, 1898 – January 23, 1974) was an American Democratic Party politician who served as the 91st mayor of Philadelphia from 1956 to 1962. He twice ran as the Democratic nominee for governor of Pennsylvania, in 1950 and in 1962. He is to date the last White Anglo-Saxon Protestant mayor of Philadelphia. Education and early career He was born in Pittsburgh to Joseph Richardson Dilworth and Annie Hunter (Wood) Dilworth. He enlisted in the Marine Corps in World War I and was commissioned as an officer in World War II. In 1938, he joined the law firm of Dilworth Paxson. In 1921 he graduated from Yale University, where he was a member of Scroll and Key and Delta Kappa Epsilon, and lettered for the varsity football team. Richardson Hitchins (born September 26, 1997) is an American professional boxer, who has held the International Boxing Federation (IBF) light welterweight title since December 2024. Richardson Pack (1682–1728) was an English professional soldier and writer. Life Born on 29 November 1682, was son of John Pack of Stoke Ash, High Sheriff of Suffolk cin 1697. His mother was daughter and coheiress of Robert Richardson of Tudhoe, County Durham. He was admitted in 1693 to Merchant Taylors' School, London. On 18 June 1697 he matriculated as a fellow-commoner at St John's College, Oxford, and stayed there for two years, when he left without taking his degree. As his father intended him for the law, he became in 1698 a student of the Middle Temple, and, after eight terms standing, was called to the bar; but he joined the army. Pack's first command was in March 1705, when he was promoted to the head of a company of foot. Richardson Pratt Jr. (March 25, 1923 – May 1, 2001) was an American businessman and educational administrator. He was the president of the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn from 1972 to 1990, and chairman of Charles Pratt & Company. Early life Richardson Pratt Jr. was born on March 25, 1923, and grew up in Brooklyn and Glen Cove, New York. He was the son of Richardson Pratt (1894-1959) and his wife, Laura Cecilia Parsons, and the grandson of Charles Millard Pratt. He was a great-grandson of the founder of the Pratt Institute, Charles Pratt.
