Renato Feder
Renato Feder (born 28 June 1978, in São Paulo) is a Brazilian economist, entrepreneur, politician and professor. He has been serving as the State Secretary of Education of São Paulo since January 2023 and had served as Secretary of Education of Paraná from 2019 to 2023. Feder is also a partner at the Brazilian electronics and computing company, Multilaser. Biography Feder was born in the city of São Paulo in 1978. He graduated in Administration at Getúlio Vargas Foundation, and received a Master in Economics at University of São Paulo (USP). Career At Multilaser, Brazilian S.A. company in the branch of electronics and computing, founded in 1987, which he leads alongside Alexandre Ostrowiecki, he acts in import and commercialization of products from sectors of technology, multimedia accessories and toys. Brazilian Jews
The history of the Jews in Brazil begins during the settlement of Europeans in the new world. Although only baptized Christians were subject to the Inquisition, Jews started settling in Brazil when the Inquisition reached Portugal, in the 16th century. They arrived in Brazil during the period of Dutch rule, setting up in Recife the first synagogue in the Americas, the Kahal Zur Israel Synagogue, as early as 1636. Most of those Jews were Sephardic Jews who had fled the Inquisition in Spain and Portugal to the religious freedom of the Netherlands. Carlos Alberto Decotelli da Silva (born 24 August 1949) is a Brazilian economist and professor. Decotelli holds a bachelor's degree in Economic Sciences by Rio de Janeiro State University, and a master's degree in Administration by Getulio Vargas Foundation. Decotelli was part of the transition cabinet of the government of President-elect Jair Bolsonaro and, in February 2019, he was appointed for Chairman of the National Education Development Fund (FNDE), seat which he occupied until August. It is attributed to his management in the FNDE a bidding of R$ 3 billion (US$ in 2018) suspended by the Comptroller General of Brazil for suspected irregularities.
