Renata Ruiz
Renata Ruiz Pérez (born 9 May 1984) is a Chilean model. She was the winner of the contest Elite Model Look Chile 2001. In September of the same year she took part in the international contest (Nice, France), where she competed with more than 60 delegates of 40 countries. The winner was the Dutch Rianne Ten Haken, and Ruiz was the 1st runner-up. The third position was for another Dutch, Femke Lakenman. Ruiz represented Chile in Miss Universe 2005 in Thailand. She was elected under the organization of Ana Maria Cummins and Francisco Zegers. She did not place in the pageant, which was won by Canadian Natalie Glebova. Elite Model Look Chile is an annual fashion modeling event held by Elite Model Chile Management since 1997. The winner of the title takes it for one year, taking part later in Elite Model Look international contest. The first runner-up goes to Elite Model Look Latino. Rock & Pop is a radio station located at 94.1 MHz on the FM dial in Santiago, Chile and is a member of the radio consortium Ibero Americana Radio Chile. Its musical programming consists his programmatic and musical line is conformed mainly by great successes of music from the 1960s to the present. History Transmissions began in Santiago on December 1, 1992, under the auspices of the Chilean Communications Company, owner of Radio Cooperativa. Miss Universo Chile 2005, the 46th Miss Chile pageant, was held in Santiago de Chile on May 9, 2005. The pageant was broadcast live on TVO from Hacienda Santa Martina. At the conclusion of the night, outgoing titleholder Gabriela Barros crowned Renata Ruiz as the new Miss Chile. Final Results Delegates 14 delegates were selected this year. The Miss Universo Chile or Miss Chile is a national beauty pageant that selects Chile's representative to the Miss Universe pageant. History Chile is one of the few countries that has participated in Miss Universe since 1952, has sent 53 representatives in the pageant's 65-year history and placed 13 times in the Semi-Finals, with one Miss Universe crown: Cecilia Bolocco, in 1987.
