Remember Sports
Remember Sports is an American indie rock band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. Formed in Gambier, Ohio, and originally just named Sports, they have released four albums on Father/Daughter Records. History Remember Sports formed in 2012 when all members were attending Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio. They released their first album in 2014 on Bandcamp titled ''Sunchokes''. In 2015, Sports signed to Father/Daughter Records, where they released their second album titled ''All Of Something''. The album was produced by Kyle Gilbride (Waxahatchee, Upset, Field Mouse). All Of Something was recorded primarily while most of the members were still in college. The album received four stars out of five by ''Rolling Stone'' magazine. The album was listed at number ten on PopMatters list titled "The Best Indie Pop of 2015". Gambier, Ohio
Gambier is a village in Knox County, Ohio, United States. The population was 2,391 at the 2010 census. Gambier is the home of Kenyon College. A major feature is a gravel path running the length of the village, referred to as "Middle Path". This path has become a piece of Gambier's history, as it is used by college students and residents alike as a way through the community. History Gambier was laid out in 1824. The village was named after one of Kenyon College's early benefactors, Lord Gambier. Adam Schlesinger
Adam Lyons Schlesinger (October 31, 1967 – April 1, 2020) was an American musician, songwriter, composer, and record producer. He was a founding member of the bands Fountains of Wayne, Ivy, and Tinted Windows, and was a key songwriting contributor and producer for Brooklyn-based synth-pop duo Fever High. He also wrote songs for television and film, for which he won three Emmy Awards, a Grammy Award, and the ASCAP Pop Music Award, and was nominated for Academy, Tony, and Golden Globe Awards. The Click Five
The Click Five (often abbreviated as TC5) was an American rock band from Boston, Massachusetts. The original members, most of them students at Berklee College of Music, started on January 1, 2004, and played in various local venues. They then quickly got the attention of talent scout Wayne Sharp (who had worked with the power pop group Candy). The Click Five made their first recording, a two-song demo session, in early 2004 after successful local touring. They released their debut album '' Greetings from Imrie House'' in 2005.
