''Real Life'' is the debut album from contemporary Christian music singer Cindy Morgan. It was jointly released in 1992 by Word Records (for the Christian market) and Epic Records (for the secular market). This set earned Morgan her first 6 Dove Award nominations, ultimately resulting in her first win, in the New Artist category. Cindy Morgan (singer)
Cindy Lavonne Morgan (born June 4, 1968) is a contemporary Christian music singer and songwriter. Morgan's 1992 debut album, ''Real Life'', earned her six Dove Award nominations. Her follow-up, '' A Reason to Live'', garnered her another Dove Award nomination. Overall she has earned 13 Dove Awards. Morgan, using her married name, is also one half of the duo St. Lola in the Fields with Jeremy Bose. They released ''High Atop the Houses and the Towns'' on October 5, 2010 via Nettwerk. In late 2012, Morgan joined forces with singer/songwriter Andrew Greer for Food for the Hungry's "Hymns for Hunger" Tour, helping raise awareness and resources for local and international hunger relief organizations at tour stops across the country. First Call
"First Call" is a bugle call with three distinct meanings. U.S. military use At a U.S. military installation it is a pre- reveille "courtesy" signal, sounded around 05:50, originally to assemble the trumpeters to deliver the reveille that would be forthcoming at 06:00. Some locations also sound it a few minutes before "Retreat" (lowering the flag at the end of the day). In other military contexts it may be used (e.g. 5 minutes) prior to sounding "Assembly" for any particular formation. Navy use On ships of the U.S. Navy, "First Call" is sounded at 0755, five minutes ahead of "Morning Colors" (raising the national ensign), and 5 minutes before "Evening Colors" (lowering the national ensign). Lisa Bevill (born June 24, 1961) is an American contemporary Christian musician. A Dove Award is an accolade by the Gospel Music Association (GMA) of the United States to recognize outstanding achievement in the Christian music industry. The awards are presented annually.
