Rajput (film)
''Rajput'' is a 1982 Hindi romantic action film starring Dharmendra, Vinod Khanna, Rajesh Khanna, Hema Malini, Tina Munim and Ranjeeta Kaur. It was directed by Vijay Anand. The film took many years for its completion. As per Boxofficeindia.com, it was the ninth highest-grossing film of 1982. Plot An amendment in independent India comes in which kingdoms are seized, and people from the royal family are no longer rulers. One such kingdom is about to be seized from Jaipal Singh, who refuses to lose his position. He continues to rule the jurisdiction as king and compels people to pay tax to him. Vijay Anand (Hindi Film Maker)
Vijay Anand (22 January 1934 – 23 February 2004), also known as Goldie Anand, was an Indian filmmaker, producer, screenwriter, editor and actor, who is known for acclaimed films such as ''Guide'' (1965), ''Teesri Manzil'' (1966), '' Jewel Thief'' (1967) and (1970). He made most of his films for the in-house banner Navketan Films and was part of the Anand family. Indrani Mukherjee
Indrani Mukherjee is an Indian actress who worked in Hindi films during the 1960s and 1970s and starred in over 70 films. After playing the heroine in some films, notably ''Usne Kaha Tha'' (1960) and ''Aakhri Khat'' (1966), she moved to playing character roles which were central to the film and made this her forte. Mohammed Rafi
Mohammed Rafi (24 December 1924 – 31 July 1980) was an Indian playback singer. He is considered to have been one of the greatest and most influential singers of the Indian subcontinent. Rafi was notable for his versatility and range of voice; his songs varied from fast peppy numbers to patriotic songs, sad numbers to highly romantic songs, qawwalis to ghazals and bhajans to classical songs. Dilraj Kaur (born 21 May 1960), is an Indian playback singer. She is most known for singing in films such as '' Galiyon Ka Badshah'' (2001), '' Me and Mr. Canadian'' (2019) etc. She has sung 286 songs in Hindi films. Hemlata (born 16 August 1954) is an Indian classically trained playback singer in Bollywood. She is best known for her songs in the late 1970s, especially Ankhiyon Ke Jharokhon Se song. Manhar Udhas is a Hindi and Gujarati language singer and Bollywood playback singer. Early life Manhar Udhas is the eldest son of Keshubhai Udhas and Jituben Udhas, and the elder brother of the singer Pankaj Udhas, who died on 26 February in 2024 and Nirmal Udhas. He completed his mechanical engineering training in Gujarat and moved to Mumbai in the late 1960s to look for a job. Mahendra Kapoor (9 January 1934 – 27 September 2008) was an Indian playback singer. In a long career spanning decades, his repertoire included popular songs such as ''Chalo ekbaar phir se Ajnabi ban jayen hum dono'' ( Gumrah) and ''Neele Gagan ke tale'' ( Hamraaz). Anand Bakshi (21 July 1930 – 30 March 2002) was an Indian poet and lyricist. He won Filmfare Award for Best Lyricist 4 times during his career. He wrote over 6000 film songs in more than 300 films. Early life Anand Bakshi (Bakshi Anand Prakash Vaid) was born in Rawalpindi in the Punjab Province of British India (now in Punjab, Pakistan), on 21 July 1930 into a Mohyal Brahmin family of the Vaid clan.
