Raimonds Feldmanis
Raimonds Feldmanis (born 4 April 1982 in Rīga) is a Latvian former professional basketball player and professional basketball coach who helped Latvian 3x3 national team win gold medals in 2020 Summer Olympics. Playing career Feldmanis was a professional basketball player having played domestically for teams in Latvian Basketball League. He also had stints in Spain with teams from Liga EBA. Feldmanis won Latvian Basketball League title in 2010 with BK Barons. Coaching career Feldmanis worked with professional and youth national teams in Latvia, developed several top European prospects, such as Rodions Kurucs. In 2017, Feldmanis won Latvian championship with VEF Rīga. In February 2018, Feldmanis coached VEF Skola at the Big Baller Brand International Tournament where his team debuted by erasing 29-point first quarter deficit in a game against Vytautas Prienai–Birštonas, a team that had LaMelo Ball on its roster. The FIBA 3x3 World Tour is an international tour of men's 3x3 basketball teams representing cities. The tournament is organized by FIBA. The FIBA 3x3 Pro Series and FIBA 3x3 Women Series were launched in 2019. FIBA 3x3 Europe Cup
The FIBA 3x3 Europe Cup had its inaugural tournament in 2014 in Bucharest, Romania. There are two events in the championship, one men's event and one women's event. Each team has four players (three on court and one on the bench). The match is played on a half court and every rule applies as well as a 12-second shot clock and clearance needed on a new possession. The New Orleans Pelicans are an American professional basketball team based in New Orleans. The Pelicans compete in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member of the league's Western Conference Southwest Division and play their home games at the Smoothie King Center. Since 2014, the NBA officially considers New Orleans as an expansion team that began play in the 2002–03 season. LaMelo LaFrance Ball (born August 22, 2001) is an American professional basketball player for the Charlotte Hornets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was selected by the Hornets with the third overall pick of the 2020 NBA draft. Ball was voted the NBA Rookie of the Year in 2021 and named an NBA All-Star the following season in 2022. BC Prienai
BC Prienai ( lt, Krepšinio klubas Prienai), also known by the sponsor name Labas Gas, is a professional basketball club based in Prienai, Lithuania. They play domestically in Lithuanian Basketball League every year. During the 2008–09 season, then called Rūdupis, they became the champion of the NKL and won the challenge match for a slot in the LKL. In their debut LKL season Rūdupis took seventh place, while next two seasons brought BC Prienai two bronze LKL medals. The Big Baller Brand International Tournament was a round-robin basketball tournament hosted by Vytautas Prienai–Birštonas of the Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL) that featured three teams from different European countries. It began on February 25 and ended on February 27, 2018, with a total of six games and three games per team. The competition took place at Prienai Arena in Prienai, Lithuania, with the games featuring Vytautas being streamed through Facebook. Rodions Kurucs (born 5 February 1998) is a Latvian professional basketball player for SIG Strasbourg of the French LNB Pro A. At tall, he plays the small forward position.
