Raghavendra Kumar Singh (born 1986) is an Indian politician from Chhattisgarh. He is an MLA from Akaltara Assembly constituency in Janjgir Champa District. He won the 2023 Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly election, representing the Indian National Congress. Early life and education Kumar is from Akaltara, Janjgir Champa District, Chhattisgarh. He is the son of late Rakesh Kumar Singh. He completed his Class 12 in CBSC stream at Sindhiya School, Gwalior in 2005, and later did L.L.B, at I.L.S. Law College, Pune in 2010. Career Kumar won from Akaltara Assembly constituency, representing the Indian National Congress, in the 2023 Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly election. Janjgir–Champa District
Janjgir–Champa district is a district in the Indian state of Chhattisgarh. The district's headquarters, Janjgir, is the city of Maharaja Jajawalya Dev of the Kalachuri dynasty. Champa is the city named after Raja Veer bahadur's Horse called "Champak". Earlier a part of the Bilaspur district, Jangir-Champa was carved out in 1998 to a separate district of its own. Inhabitants are generally migrants from nearby villages. The present collector of Janjgir-Champa is Shri Jitendra Kumar Shukla. 2023 Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly Election
Legislative Assembly elections were held in Chhattisgarh in two phases on 2023 elections in India, 7 November and 17 November 2023 to elect all List of constituencies of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly, 90 members of Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly. The votes were counted and the results declared on 3 December 2023.
