Radio Shalom Paris
Radio Shalom is a Jewish community radio station based in Paris, France. It broadcasts on 94.8 MHz in a time-sharing agreement with two additional Jewish stations, Radio J and RCJ, from a transmitter in the 17th arrondissement of Paris, atop the Hyatt Regency Paris Étoile. The station, characterized by its pro-peace editorial stance to the Israel–Palestine conflict, is financed by advertising. History After the liberalization of French radio in 1981, new stations sprang up across the country, including four Jewish stations in the Paris area. Robert Assaraf
Robert Assaraf ( ar, روبرت الصراف) (5 November 1936 in Rabat – 5 March 2018 in Ramat HaSharon) was a Moroccan Jewish historian and writer. He resided between Paris, France and Marrakesh, Morocco. Personal life Assaraf married Michelle Botbol, with whom he had two daughters - Tania and Yael. Tania gave birth to four of Robert's grandchildren - Omer Menashe, Daniel Menashe, Orian Menashe, and Emi-ly Menashe. Yael gave birth to Franck Elmaleh and Candice Elmaleh. In October of 2019 Robert's first great-grandson, Adam Robert Isaac Menashe, was born and was named after Robert. Chante France is a radio station created in 1994 owned by Groupe HPI, based at Paris (France), and dedicated to French Chansons. It currently has 2 transmitters - in Paris and Beauvais, both broadcasting on 90.9 MHz.
