Rabid Rider
''Rabid Rider'' is a 2010 3D computer-animated ''Looney Tunes'' short film featuring the characters Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner. Directed by Matthew O'Callaghan and written by Tom Sheppard, the film was first shown in theaters before Warner Bros.' feature-length film ''Yogi Bear''. In 2014, Warner Bros. Animation published this short on YouTube. The film also came before the 2018 theatrical re-release of '' Batman: Mask of the Phantasm''. A 4D version – enhanced with physical effects like vibration, flashing lights and blasts of air – runs in a specially equipped theatre at the Cincinnati Zoo. Plot Wile E. Coyote intends to use an ACME Hyper Sonic Transport to catch the Road Runner, but the transport has inherent problems of its own. Matthew O'Callaghan
Matthew O'Callaghan (born August 31, 1966) is an American film director, animator, writer, and storyboard artist whose credits include directing the 2006 film ''Curious George'' and co-creating the television series '' Life with Louie''. Life and career O'Callaghan was born in 1966 in Chicago, where he was raised. In 1995, he co-created the animated sitcom series '' Life with Louie'' which ran from 1995 to 1998. He worked on various Warner Bros. and ''Looney Tunes'' projects such as ''Coyote Falls, Fur of Flying, I Tawt I Taw a Puddy Tat, Flash in the Pain, Rabid Rider,'' and ''Daffy's Rhapsody'', in which he served as the director for all three short films, in which the shorts debuted in 2010, focusing on Wile E. A reel is an object around which a length of another material (usually long and flexible) is wound for storage (usually hose are wound around a reel). Generally a reel has a cylindrical core (known as a ''spool'') with flanges around the ends (known as the ''rims'') to retain the material wound around the core. In most cases the core is hollow in order to pass an axle and allow the reel to rotate like a wheel, and crank or handles may exist for manually turning the reel, while others are operated by (typically electric) motors.
