''Quiz Show Q'' (), also known under the direct translation, ''Strongest Victor Quiz Show Q'', is a South Korean television quiz show broadcast by the Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation. It is hosted by comedian Park Myeong-su, singer IU, and host Sun Bom Soo. History The show began its debut on August 19, 2012. In December 2012, ''Quiz Show Q'' was announced to be cancelled alongside several other MBC shows due to changes in time slot availability. It was also noted in the announcement that the show had received low ratings. The show was broadcast until February 2013. It was later reported that neither Park Myeong-su nor IU's agency's were aware of the cancellation. Format The show features ten teams of ten members who compete amongst one another. Once a team is victorious, the members of this winning team will compete amongst each other until there is a single winner within the team. Park Myung-soo (born August 27, 1970) is a South Korean DJ, comedian, MC, singer, and songwriter who debuted on television in 1993, appearing on MBC. He co-hosted the top-rated comic variety programme '' Infinite Challenge'' and also hosted the ''Date at 2 o'clock'' radio show. He has released several music singles, including "Prince of the Sea", which was covered by LPG in 2007. IU (singer)
Lee Ji-eun (; born May 16, 1993), also known by her stage name IU (), is a South Korean singer-songwriter, record producer and actress. She signed with LOEN Entertainment (now Kakao Entertainment) in 2007 as a trainee and debuted as a singer at the age of fifteen with her first extended play (EP) '' Lost and Found'' (2008). The Korean Republic won, unofficially the South Korean won ( Symbol: ₩; Code: KRW; Korean: 대한민국 원) is the official currency of South Korea.
