Queensberry (band)
Queensberry was an all-female German pop group founded in late 2008. Formed during the seventh season of the television talent show ''Popstars'', '' Popstars – Just 4 Girls'', the original line-up consisted of singers (Leo), (Gabby), Antonella Trapani (Anto), and Victoria Ulbrich (Vici). In July 2010, it was announced that both Antonella and Victoria had left the group, to be replaced by new members, and . The band's debut album '' Volume I'' was released in December 2008 and reached gold status in Germany in January 2009. It produced two singles, " No Smoke" and " I Can't Stop Feeling", both becoming top thirty successes in the charts. In February 2008, Queensberry served as the opening act for the Pussycat Dolls's '' Doll Domination Tour'' in selected European countries. The Squeakquel
''Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel'' is a 2009 American live-action/ computer-animated jukebox musical comedy film directed by Betty Thomas, written by Jon Vitti, Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger, and produced by Janice Karman and Ross Bagdasarian Jr.. The second installment in its live-action film series and the sequel to '' Alvin and the Chipmunks'' (2007), the film stars Zachary Levi, David Cross and Jason Lee. Sido (rapper)
Paul Hartmut Würdig (born 30 November 1980), better known as Sido, is a German rapper. He interprets his artist name as "super-intelligentes Drogenopfer" (super-intelligent drug victim). It used to stand for "Scheiße in dein Ohr" (shit into your ear), a line from his track "Terroarr". Sido distinguishes himself by using provocative and aggressive lyrics. After his breakthrough with his debut album '' Maske'' in 2004, he was always seen wearing a silver skull mask. However, since 2005, he no longer wears the mask. Loona (born Marie-José van der Kolk, on September 16, 1974 in IJmuiden, Netherlands), is a Dutch pop singer and dancer. Life and career 1994–1998: Beginnings and ''Life Is Just a Game'' Van der Kolk was born on 16 September 1974 in IJmuiden. In 1991, she met DJ and producer DJ Sammy at Zorba's Club in El Arenal Mallorca. Detlef Soost (born 2 July 1970), also using the name D! (formerly ''Dee!''), most often called Detlef D! Soost, is a German television personality, dancer and choreographer who gained recognition as one of the jury members of the German talent show ''Popstars''. Early life Soost was born East Berlin, East Germany, and grew up in an orphanage. His mother, who died very early, was a German, and his father came to East Germany from Ghana. According to the biography on his homepage, Soost became streetdance champion of East Berlin when he was 15 years old, and champion of East Germany when he was 16, but some critics point out that, based on his date of birth given in the same biography, this appears very unrealistic, as streetdance was not accepted in East Germany and no "official" battles could be held in which Soost could have won a title. Popstars – Neue Engel Braucht Das Land
''Popstars – Neue Engel braucht das Land'' was a new installment of the ''Popstars'' themed ''Neue Engel braucht das Land'' which started airing on 10 August 2006. The title of the show was a play on the status of the show's original winners No Angels, a group whose members had disbanded in 2003, with the declared goal of the show's season being to find their successors.
