Quartz is a dance music, dance record producer, production duo of Ronnie Herel and Dave Rawlings, known for its collaboration with Clubland (band), Clubland on "Let's Get Busy", which went to chart-topper, number one on the United States, U.S. ''Billboard (magazine), Billboard'' Hot Dance Club Play record chart, chart in 1990. Its album ''Perfect Timing'', produced the early 1990s dance hit record, hit "Meltdown", and also teamed them with Dina Carroll on a number of tracks, most notably a cover version, cover of "It's Too Late (Carole King song), It's Too Late". In popular music, a cover version, cover song, remake, revival, or simply cover, is a new performance or recording by a musician other than the original performer or composer of the song. Originally, it referred to a version of a song released around the same time as the original in order to compete with it. Now, it refers to any subsequent version performed after the original. The Dutch Top 40 ( nl, Nederlandse Top 40) is a weekly music chart compiled by ''Stichting Nederlandse Top 40''. It started as a radio program titled "Veronica Top 40", on the offshore station Radio Veronica in 1965. It remained "The Veronica Top 40" until 1974, when the station was forced to stop broadcasting. Joost den Draaijer initiated the Top 40 in the Netherlands. The show currently airs on Fridays from 2 to 6 PM on Qmusic.
