Qormi Football Club is a Maltese football club from the city of Qormi, that currently plays in the Maltese National Amateur League. History Qormi Football Club was founded in 1961 after the amalgamation of Qormi Youngsters (from the parish of St. Sebastian) and Qormi United (from the parish of St. George),Axiaq, M. (2011), L-istorja ta' 95 sena futbol f'Ħal Qormi, u 50 sena amalgamazzjoni ta' Qormi FC. Qormi FC: Qormi, Malta. pp.19–21 which is from where the club acquired its motto ''Fl-Għaqda s-Saħħa'', ( en, Strength in Unity). The first club from Qormi dates back to the 1920s. The club thus celebrated the 50th anniversary in 2011. Qormi Football Club is affiliated with the Malta Football Association (MFA) which is the main football body in Malta. The Qormi FC Youth Nursery is a sub-committee of Qormi FC and almost 200 youngsters are affiliated with the nursery. Qormi
Qormi ( mt, Ħal Qormi ; pronounced in the Qormi dialect), also known by its title Città Pinto, is a city in the Southern Region of Malta, southwest of Valletta in the centre of the island. It has a population of 16,324 (as of March 2018), making it Malta's fifth-largest city. Its bordering towns are Marsa, Luqa, Żebbuġ, Siġġiewi, Ħamrun, Birkirkara, Attard, Santa Venera and Balzan. Qormi has two parishes, one dedicated to Saint George and one to Saint Sebastian. It contains two valleys: Wied ''il-Kbir'' (The Large Valley) and ''Wied is-Sewda'' (Black Valley). The 2014–15 Maltese Premier League is the 100th season of the Maltese Premier League, Valletta are the defending champions, having won their 22nd title the previous season. The FA Trophy, currently known as the IZIBET FA Trophy for sponsorship reasons, is an annual football cup competition that takes place in Malta. The cup was founded in 1933; following a match between England and Italy, played in Rome in May 1933, to where a number of pro-British Maltese supporters travelled to support the English side. The Football Association as recognition donated a silver trophy to be played on the model of the FA Cup. The team who wins the cup, wins a place in the First qualifying round of the UEFA Europa Conference League. Michael Mifsud (born 17 April 1981) is a Maltese professional association football, footballer who plays as a Forward (association football), forward for Maltese Premier League side Mosta F.C., Mosta. George Mallia
George Mallia (born 10 October 1978 in Sliema, Malta) is a retired professional footballer who last played for Maltese Premier League side Qormi FC as a midfielder. Playing career George made his debut with Sliema Wanderers in the Maltese Premier League in the season 1995–1996. In the season 1998-1999 he joined Floriana.
