Quebec Route 223
Route 223 is a 128.6 km north/south highway on the south shore of the Richelieu River in Quebec. Its northern terminus is in Sorel-Tracy at the junction of Route 132 and its southern terminus is close to Lacolle, where it crosses the U.S. border at the Rouses Point–Lacolle 223 Border Crossing and continues into New York state as U.S. Route 11. In Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Route 223 runs along Boulevard du Séminaire, one of the most important streets of the city and home to the main campus of Cégep de Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu. Quebec Route 133
Route 133 is a historic and heritage road of the Estrie and Montérégie regions in the province of Quebec, with north–south orientation and located on the eastern shore of the Richelieu River. Its northern terminus is in Sorel-Tracy, on the south shore of the Saint Lawrence River. The southern terminus is in Saint-Armand at the United States border with Vermont, close to Highgate Springs, where it continues southward past the Highgate Springs–St. Armand/Philipsburg Border Crossing as Interstate 89. Prior to the 1970s, the portion between the international border and Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu was known as Route 7, which served as a continuation of US 7. Saint-Marc-sur-Richelieu (, ) is a municipality (Quebec), municipality in southwestern Quebec, Canada, on the Richelieu River in the La Vallée-du-Richelieu Regional County Municipality, Regional County Municipality of La Vallée-du-Richelieu. Beloeil (; ) is a city in Quebec, Canada. It is a suburb of Montreal, on the South Shore and is on the Richelieu River, east of Montreal. According to the official Commission de toponymie du Québec, the name is written Belœil with an oe ligature; however, other sources avoid the ligature, including the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and the town's own official website. Carignan, Quebec
Carignan () is a suburban municipality in southwestern Quebec, Canada, on the Richelieu River in La Vallée-du-Richelieu Regional County Municipality, about from Montreal. The population as of the Canada 2021 Census was 11,740. Carignan was originally the Village Municipality of Chambly. The village of Chambly was established in 1855, less than 10 years after the municipality of Chambly. In 1965 it was renamed Carignan to honour the Carignan-Salières Regiment. The original name of Carignan was Saint-Joseph-de-Chambly and it kept this name for more than a century.
