Pyton
''Pyton'' was a Norwegian comic book series which was produced by the company Gevion, and afterwards Bladkompaniet, between the years 1986 until 1996. An anthology magazine with no major main character, its style of humor focused mostly on satiric and toilet humour, including sexual, toilet, and farting jokes. Most of ''Pytons material was produced by the magazine's own staff, but a handful of foreign comics also appeared in the magazine, including Gary Larson's '' The Far Side'', and the German comic '' Werner''. The name is Norwegian for python, a term which in Scandinavia also has gained a slang adjective meaning of "disgusting" or "sick". The magazine also adopted a python snake as mascot (after discarding their original polar bear), who occasionally featured in his own comics. The magazine reached its peak around 1990 when it sold around 35,000 copies per month. Pervo-Kris is a United Kingdom, British/Norway, Norwegian ribald comic strip. It originally debuted in 1990 in the comics magazine ''Pyton Spesial'' and is written and drawn by Bristol born comics artist, Kristian B. Walters. ''Pondus'' is a comic strip created by the Norwegian cartoonist Frode Øverli. Since its start in 1995, it has become one of the most successful comic strips in Scandinavia. ''Rocky'' is a Swedish autobiographical comic strip created by Martin Kellerman, focusing on an anthropomorphic dog, Rocky, and his friends in their everyday life in Stockholm. Overview ''Rocky'' is based on Kellerman's own life. According to Kellerman, "My friends are just such perfect cartoon characters. A lot of times they say things and all I have to do is write it down. Their personalities match and complement each other so well, it's impossible not to write it down. Martin Kellerman (born 1973 in Växjö) is a Swedish cartoonist, known for the comic strip ''Rocky''. He was influenced by American and Swedish underground cartoonists such as Peter Bagge, Max Andersson, Robert Crumb, Harvey Pekar, Joe Matt and Mats Jonsson.
