Unheilig (German for "Unholy") was a German band that featured a variety of influences, including various pop and electronic styles as well as harder, nihilistic hard rock. The band was founded in 1999 and principally consisted of singer Bernd Heinrich "Der Graf" (the Earl) along with various musical partners. He was accompanied for live shows with musicians Christoph "Licky" Termühlen, Henning Verlage, and Martin "Potti" Potthoff. The group's debut, ''Phosphor'', came out in 2000. ''Moderne Zeiten'' (German for "Modern Times") is the fifth studio album released by the Neue Deutsche Härte band Unheilig. It was released on January 20, 2006, and, like the band's previous album, Zelluloid, it was released in two versions: a standard 14-track edition, and a limited 16-track edition. The standard edition is in a regular jewel case, with a pinkish-brown album color, while the limited edition is a digipak Optical disc packaging is the packaging that accompanies CDs, DVDs, and other formats of optical discs. Most packaging is rigid or semi-rigid and designed to protect the media from scratches and other types of exposure damage. Jewel case ..., with a white album cover. Große Freiheit ( German for 'Great Freedom') is the seventh album by the Neue Deutsche Härte band Unheilig. It was released on February 19, 2010, as a standard 14-track album and a Fanbox Edition boxset which was limited to 5,000 copies that contains the following: *a limited edition 16-track studio album (including 2 bonus tracks) in digipak. *a bonus CD of unreleased studio recordings of Unheilig from the current studio sessions and recordings and songs from the first musical steps of Der Graf so far (never published). *an Unheilig flag. *Autobiography of Der Graf, 176-sided: Der Graf tells of his first musical steps up to his latest album ''Große Freiheit''. Neue Deutsche Härte
Neue Deutsche Härte (; "new German hardness"), sometimes abbreviated as NDH, is a subgenre of rock music that developed in Germany and Austria during the early-to-mid 1990s and during the early 2000s. Alluding to the style of Neue Deutsche Welle, the term was coined by the music press after the 1995 release of the German rock and metal band Rammstein's first studio album '' Herzeleid''. Characteristics Neue Deutsche Härte describes a crossover style that is influenced by Neue Deutsche Welle, alternative metal and groove metal combining it with elements from electro-industrial and techno. The lyrics are generally in German. NDH uses the basic setup of instruments for metal: electric guitar, bass guitar, drums and vocals, along with keyboard, synthesizers, samples and sometimes additional percussion. European Top 100 Albums
The European Top 100 Albums chart was the European adaptation of the ''Billboard'' 200 albums chart. It ran from March 1984 until December 2010. Also commonly referred to as Eurochart Top 100 Albums, the chart showcased the sales of an act in 19 European countries based on IFPI data. The European Top 100 combined album sales (both retail and digital) of new and older albums. The methodology was different from the US ''Billboard'' 200, where albums would only be allowed to chart if they weren't 18 months old. If an album older than 18 months had enough sales to enter the 200 chart after having already dropped out of the 100th position, it would chart on The ''U.S. Billboard'' Catalog Albums. Later ''Billboard'' reviewed the criteria and decided the older albums would also be allowed to chart in the 200, as it should show what's being sold.
