Princess Louise of Prussia (Luise Auguste Wilhelmine Amalie; 1 February 1808 – 6 December 1870) was Princess of the Netherlands as the wife of Prince Frederick. She was born the penultimate child of King Frederick William III of Prussia and Queen Louise. Although Princess Louise played a minor role in royal society, she helped establish the ''Luisestiftelsen''—a charity organisation built for orphans—and pitched ideas for the construction of a residential home in Passow. Karl Wilhelm Wach
Karl Wilhelm Wach (also Carl Wilhelm or Wilhelm Wach) (11 September 1787 – 24 November 1845) was a German painter. Life Wach was born in Berlin in 1787, studied art at the Prussian Academy of Arts and was a pupil of painter Karl Kretschmar. At the age of just 20, Wach was commissioned to paint an altar piece for the Paretz village church and produced his "Christ with four Apostles" (1807). Five years later came his artistic breakthrough, his painting of Königin Luise (1812). After spending 1813 to 1815 in the Prussian army, Wach then established himself in Paris. He met William Hensel and the two became pupils of the painters Antoine Jean Gros and Jacques-Louis David. In 1817 Wach undertook a longer study trip to Italy, above all to study artists from Quattrocento. His strongest influence – according to his own statements – was however Raphael. Princess Frederica Charlotte of Prussia (Friederike Charlotte Ulrike Katharina; 7 May 1767 – 6 August 1820) was a Prussian princess by birth and a British princess by marriage. Carl Eduard Adolph Petzold (14 January 1815 – August 1891) was a German landscape gardener. Life Petzold was born in Königswalde (Lubniewice), Brandenburg. As a child, he followed his parents in 1826 to Muskau, visiting the town's school and in 1828 the grammar school at Halle in Prussian Saxony. In 1831, he started working at the Park von Muskau of the Prince Hermann von Pückler-Muskau, who turned out to be of great influence on his later work. 1835-38 he created his first Park at Matzdorf (Silesia).
