David Prager
David Lawrence Prager (born January 17, 1977) is one of the co-founders and Vice President of Special Projects for Revision3. He has also worked for ZDTV, TechTV, and G4. Early life Prager graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas with a degree in Communication and Media Studies. Career Prager's first job after school was as a network administrator for the software company, Bowne Litigation Solutions based in San Antonio, Texas. Prager was hired by ZDTV in 1999. He worked as a broadcast television producer, technology writer, and journalist in his time with ZDTV and TechTV. Prager remained as a segment producer for the nightly G4techTV technology show ''The Screen Savers''. Later, the show would switch gears, becoming the variety show ''Attack of the Show!''. Charles Praeger
Charles Emil Praeger, Sr. (August 18, 1877 – January 3, 1940) was an American architect from Victoria, Texas. He worked for part of his career in partnership with architect James Hull as Praeger & Hull and Hull & Praeger. He was also in partnership with architect Sam H. Dixon, Jr., as Praeger & Dixon. Lou Preager
Louis Jacob Preager (12 January 1906 – 14 November 1978), known as Lou Preager, was an English pianist, dance band leader, disc jockey and businessman. He was active from the 1930s to the 1950s; with his band he made many recordings. They also appeared on radio and television. Early career Louis Jacob Preager was born in Poplar, London, in 1906, and came from a Jewish background. He was the son of Louis Preager, a tailor, and his wife Rebecca (née Cohen De Murcia). While at school, the younger Louis he played the piano in dance bands, and from age 19 he was a full-time musician. He played in fashionable London clubs and restaurants; in 1931 he joined "Eugene Pini and his Tango Orchestra" at the Monseigneur, and later joined the Billy Reid Accordion Band. Jack Preger
Jack Preger (born 25 July 1930, in Manchester, England) is a British doctor who has been offering medical treatment as well as vocational training to the poor in the Indian city of Kolkata and in other parts of West Bengal since 1972. He established the relief agency Calcutta Rescue. Preger graduated from St Edmund Hall, Oxford with a post-graduate degree in economics and political science. He worked for a few years as a farmer in Wales before selling his farm and deciding to become a doctor instead. In 1965, he was admitted into the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin at the age of 35. Andreja Preger
Andreja Preger (20 March 1912 – 18 December 2015) was an Austro-Hungarian-born Yugoslav and Serbian pianist and Holocaust survivor. Preger, who was Jewish, survived the Holocaust by joining the Yugoslav Partisans, led by Josip Broz Tito, during the Nazi German occupation of Yugoslavia. He became a noted concert pianist and piano teacher after the war. Andreja Preger was born in 1912 in Pécs, Austro-Hungary, in present-day Hungary. He was raised in Zagreb, present-day Croatia, where he enrolled in a Jewish school. Preger, who was a member of Hashomer Hatzair as a teenager, studied both music and law. Preger, a reservist in the Royal Yugoslav Army, was called to active duty following the invasion of Yugoslavia by Nazi Germany in April 1941. Sandy Praeger (born October 21, 1944) is a former politician from the U.S. state of Kansas who served as the Kansas Insurance Commissioner from 2003 to 2015. Prior to her term as insurance commissioner, she was a member of the Kansas Senate and Kansas House of Representatives, and served as mayor of Lawrence, Kansas. Sophia Rosamond Praeger, MBE, HRHA, MA (17 April 1867 – 16 April 1954) was an Irish artist, sculptor, illustrator, poet and writer. Early life and education Praeger was born in Holywood, County Down, Ireland on 17 April 1867. Her parents were Willem Emil Praeger and Marie Ferrar Patterson. Her father, immigrated to Belfast from Holland to work with his uncle in the family linen company, which was established in 1860. Praeger had five brothers, one of whom was the naturalist Robert Lloyd Praeger. Robert Lloyd Praeger
Robert Lloyd Praeger (25 August 1865 – 5 May 1953) was an Irish naturalist, writer and librarian. Biography From a Unitarian background, he was born and raised in Holywood, County Down. He attended the school of the Reverend McAlister and then the nearby Sullivan Upper School. He worked in the National Library of Ireland in Dublin from 1893 to 1923. He co-founded and edited the '' Irish Naturalist'', and wrote papers on the flora and other aspects of the natural history of Ireland. He organised the Lambay Survey in 1905/06 and, from 1909 to 1915, the wider Clare Island Survey. He was an engineer by qualification, a librarian by profession and a naturalist by inclination. He was awarded the Veitch Memorial Medal of the Royal Horticultural Society in 1921. Ferdinand Praeger (22 January 1815 – 2 September 1891) (aka Ferdinand Christian Wilhelm Praeger) was a composer, music teacher, pianist and writer. He is now best known for his controversial biography of Richard Wagner, ''Wagner As I Knew Him'', published in 1892 after Praeger's death.
