Syed Aijazuddin Shah (Popular Meeruthi) (Urdu: پاپولرمیرٹھی, hi, पॉपुलर मेरठी) is an Urdu and Hindi humorist, satirist and poet. He has been performing Mushaira and Kavi Sammelan for the last 45 years all over the world. Popular Meeruthi was awarded Kaka Hatrasi Award for his humorous poetry by HRD Minister Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal Early life He was born on 9 August 1953 in Meerut to Syed Nizamuddin Shah and Syeda Akhtari Begum. He went to Faiz-E-Am Inter College in Meerut. While doing his graduation, he was the President of the Students’ Association. He completed his graduation and post-graduation from Meerut College. Sony SAB (formerly SAB TV) is an Indian pay television channel owned by Culver Max Entertainment. ''Wah! Wah! Kya Baat Hai!'' is an Indian comic poetry series produced by Neela Tele Films Private Limited which premiered on 15 September 2012 on SAB TV. The series was hosted by Shailesh Lodha and Neha Mehta, known respectively as Taarak Mehta and his wife, Anjali Taarak Mehta, from the long-running series Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Overview The format of the show is based on 'Haasya Kavi Sammelan', which will retain the essence of ‘hasya kavita’, making it less severe, without trivializing the poetry. Shailesh Lodha (born 8 November 1969) is an Indian poet, actor, comedian and writer. He is best known for portraying Taarak Mehta in the Hindi sitcom ''Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah''. Personal life Lodha was born in Jodhpur in a Marwari family. Lodha is married to a management author, Swati Lodha, and has a daughter Swara. Since his father was transferred to different places, Lodha travelled a lot. His mother loved reading and had a good vocabulary in Hindi. At the age of nine, Lodha was nicknamed "Baal Kavi". He had an office job, but he left it to follow his passion, i.e. writing poems. In a 2015 interview Lodha said, "I am half Jain". Lodha has completed B.Sc. and PG in marketing.
