Jonathan Pollak (born c. 1982) is an Israeli activist and graphic designer who works for Haaretz. He co-founded the direct action group Anarchists Against the Wall. Early life Jonathan Pollak was born around 1982 in Tel Aviv, Israel to actor Yossi Pollak and a psychologist named Tami. He is an Ashkenazi Jew. Felix Pollak (November 11, 1909 – November 19, 1987) was an American librarian, translator, and poet. Pollak was born in Vienna, Austria, in 1909 to Geza Pollak and Helene Schneider Pollak. A Jew and liberal anti-fascist, he studied law and theater at the University of Vienna before emigrating to the United States in 1938 following the annexation of Austria by the Third Reich. Rabbi Jacob Pollak (other common spelling Yaakov Pollack), son of Rabbi Joseph, was the founder of the Polish method of halakhic and Talmudic study known as the Pilpul. Biography He was born about 1460 or 1470 in Poland, and died at Lublin in 1541. He was a pupil of Jacob Margolioth of Nuremberg, with whose son Isaac he officiated in the rabbinate of Prague about 1490; but he first became known during the latter part of the activity of Judah Minz (d. 1508), who opposed him in 1492 regarding a question of divorce. Linsey Pollak
Linsey Pollak is an Australian musician, instrument maker, composer, musical director and community music facilitator. Pollak studied classical clarinet until age 19. Then, at university, he started making and selling bamboo flutes. He dropped out in the second year of physiology to get more time to make instruments. Pollak has recorded 31 albums. He toured his solo shows extensively in Europe, North America and Asia as well as performing at most major festivals around Australia.
