Podgorje ob Sevnični () is a dispersed settlement in the hills north of Sevnica in east-central Slovenia. The area is part of the historical region of Lower Styria, Styria. The Municipality of Sevnica is now included in the Lower Sava Statistical Region. Name The name of the settlement was changed from ''Podgorje'' to ''Podgorje ob Sevnični'' in 1953. Church The local church (building), church is dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary ( sl, sveta Marija Rožnovenska) and belongs to the Parish of Zabukovje nad Sevnico, Zabukovje.
