Amos Pizzey (born 1967) is a British businessman and the founder of internet company Talenthouse. Early life Amos Pizzey was born in West London in 1967. His mother Erin Pizzey was the founder of the Women's Refugee Movement, now known as Refuge. Music career He began his career in music at the age of 13, and was recognized for his vocal talent by Boy George. At the age of 14, he joined George’s band, Culture Club, using the name Captain Crucial and toasted on the Kissing To Be Clever song Love Twist as well as Murder Rap Trap, the B-side to I'm Afraid Of Me (also included on the album's 2003 reissue as a bonus track). Two years later, he signed his first international contract with Richard Branson at Virgin Records. Christopher Pizzey (born 23 December 1976) is a British actor and comedian from London, best known for playing Mr. Stephen in the CBBC series ''The Basil Brush Show''. Early life Pizzey was born and raised in London and graduated from the Rose Bruford College. Career Pizzey's first notable appearance was as Keith in episode 11.9 of TV series '' London's Burning''. His next appearance was as Busyboy in the ''Doc Martin'' TV series. He then appeared in the UK film ''Anomaly'' in 2005 as Captain Dale Waxman. His most long-standing appearance was as Basil Brush's sidekick Mr Stephen in the 2002 remake of the classic Basil Brush show from 2002 to 2005. Erin Patria Margaret Pizzey (; born 19 February 1939) is an English ex-feminist, Men's rights activist and advocate against domestic violence, and novelist. She is known for having started the first and currently the largest domestic violence shelter in the modern world, Refuge, then known as Chiswick Women's Aid, in 1971. Pizzey has been the subject of bomb threats and boycotts because her experience and research into the issue led her to conclude that most domestic violence is reciprocal, and that women are equally as capable of violence as men. These threats eventually led to her exile from the UK. Pizzey has said that the threats were from militant feminists. She has also stated that she is banned from the refuge she started. Graham Martin Pizzey AM (4 July 1930 – 12 November 2001) was a noted Australian author, photographer and ornithologist. Early life and education Graham Pizzey was born and grew up in grew up in East Ivanhoe on the Yarra River. At age seven he was given a copy of John A. Leach's 1926 ''An Australian Bird Book,'' and while attending Geelong Grammar School as a boarder he used photography to record his observations of the local countryside. After leaving school in 1948 he worked in his family's leather business, while studying part-time and publishing articles and photographs on natural history, the first appearing in 1948 in the ''Wild Life'', whose editor Crosbie Morrison encouraged Pizzey's talent. Jack Charles Allan Pizzey (2 February 1911 – 31 July 1968) was a Queensland Country Party politician. He was Premier of Queensland, in a coalition with the Liberal Party, from 17 January 1968 until his death on 31 July that year.
