Pinchbeck United Football Club is a football club based in Pinchbeck, Lincolnshire, England. They are currently members of the and play at Spalding United F.C., Spalding United's Sir Halley Stewart Field ground. History Established in 1935, the club joined the Premier Division of the Peterborough and District Football League, Peterborough & District League in 1958.''A Celebration of 100 years 1902–2002'', Peterborough & District League They were Premier Division champions in 1989–90, retaining the title the following season. In 2003–04 the club finished bottom of the Premier Division, but were not relegated to Division One. They were champions again in 2011–12, also winning the Peterborough Senior Cup. After finishing as runners-up in 2016–17, the club were promoted to Division One of the United Counties League. Spalding () is a market town on the River Welland in the South Holland district of Lincolnshire, England. The town had a population of 31,588 at the 2011 census. The town is the administrative centre of the South Holland District. The town is located between the cities of Peterborough and Lincoln, as well as the towns of Bourne, March, Boston, Wisbech, Holbeach and Sleaford. The town was well known for the annual Spalding Flower Parade, held from 1959 to 2013. The parade celebrated the region's vast tulip production and the cultural links between the Fens and the landscape and people of South Holland. At one time, it attracted crowds of more than 100,000. Since 2002 the town has held an annual pumpkin festival in October.
