Picasso Nelson
Picasso Nelson (born May 1, 1973) is a former American football linebacker who played two seasons in the Canadian Football League (CFL) with the BC Lions and Edmonton Eskimos. He played college football at Jackson State University and attended Hattiesburg High School in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He was also a member of the Houston Oilers, New York Giants and Toronto Argonauts. College career Nelson played for the Jackson State Tigers from 1992 to 1995. He was named the Southwest Athletic Conference defensive player of the year in 1995 after recording eight interceptions. He was also chosen for the Senior and Hula Bowl teams. He was inducted into the Jackson State University Sports Hall of Fame in 2009. Hattiesburg is a city in the U.S. state of Mississippi, located primarily in Forrest County (where it is the county seat and largest city) and extending west into Lamar County. The city population was 45,989 at the 2010 census, with the population now being 48,730 in 2020. Jones College is a public community college in Ellisville, Mississippi.
