Petter Eliassen (born December 1, 1985) is a Norwegian cross-country skier who has competed since 2004. His best World Cup finish was second in a 4 × 10 km relay event in Finland in March 2010. He won the Vasaloppet in 2015 and 2020, and Birkebeinerrennet Birkebeinerrennet (lit. The Birkebeiner race) is a long-distance cross-country ski marathon held annually in Norway. The 2010–11 FIS Cross-Country World Cup was a multi-race tournament over the season for cross-country skiers. It was the 30th official World Cup season in cross-country skiing for men and women. The season began on 20 November 2010 in Gällivare, Sweden and ended on 20 March 2011 in Falun, Sweden. The World Cup was organised by the FIS who also run world cups and championships in ski jumping, snowboarding and alpine skiing amongst others. The 2009–10 FIS Cross-Country World Cup was a multi-race tournament over the season for cross-country skiers. It was the 29th official World Cup season in cross-country skiing for men and ladies. The season started 21 November 2009 in Beitostølen, Norway and ended on 21 March 2010 in Falun, Sweden.
