Apostolos Paraskevas is a Grammy nominated composer and guitarist. He was born in Volos, Greece. Parents of Apostolos were Panayiotis Paraskevas (1925-1990) and Chrysoula Paraskevas (1929-2002). Michael Paraskevas
Michael Paraskevas (born 1961) is an American illustrator, cartoonist, and animation producer best known for co-creating along with his mother Betty in the Canadian animated children's television series '' Maggie and the Ferocious Beast''. The show was based on the 1996 book ''The Ferocious Beast with the Polka-Dot Hide'' and its sequels, all of which were also created by the Paraskevases. Together, they authored 20 children's books. and created three animated series: ''Maggie and the Ferocious Beast'', ''Marvin the Tap-Dancing Horse'', and ''The Kids from Room 402''. They also produced and created ''The Tangerine Bear'' as a direct-to-video Christmas special. Dame Janet Paraskeva (born 28 May 1946, Newport, Monmouthshire, Wales) is a British government official. She was appointed as the First Civil Service Commissioner on 1 January 2006. On 15 November 2007 Paraskeva was announced by Peter Hain, Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, as first Chair of the Child Maintenance and Enforcement Commission. Her appointment, which lasted four years, took effect on 19 November 2007. Paraskeva began her career as a science and mathematics teacher in 1967. His activism work primarily concerned the rights and well-being of refugees, and opposition to the austerity policies of the Cypriot government.
