''Page Eight'' is a 2011 British political thriller, written and directed for the BBC by the British dramatist David Hare, his first film as director since the 1989 film ''Strapless''. The cast includes Bill Nighy, Rachel Weisz, Michael Gambon, Tom Hughes, Ralph Fiennes, and Judy Davis. The film was followed by '' Turks & Caicos'' (2014) and ''Salting the Battlefield'' (2014), which were broadcast on BBC Two in March 2014. BBC HD
BBC HD was a 24-hour high-definition television channel provided by the BBC. The service was initially run as a trial from 15 May 2006 until becoming a full service on 1 December 2007 before its discontinuation on 26 March 2013. In military terminology, a black site is a location at which an unacknowledged black operation or black project is conducted. According to the Associated Press, "Black sites are clandestine jails where prisoners generally are not charged with a crime and have no legal recourse, with no bail or court order." Tom Hughes (born 18 April 1985) is an English actor. He is best known for his roles as Prince Albert in the ITV drama ''Victoria'' (2016–2019) and Joe Lambe in the BBC drama '' The Game'' (2014), as well as The English.
