PUP Student Council
The Polytechnic University of the Philippines Student Council (PUP SC) (Filipino language, Filipino: Konseho ng Mag-aaral ng Politeknikong Unibersidad ng Pilipinas) is the official undergraduate students' union, student union and collective student representative body of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines Manila campuses. It represents the interests of the students on the university, national, and global issues. As the collective student representation in the university, the central and college student councils are composed of members elected amongst the student body, mandated to organize and direct campaigns and activities to defend and promote students’ rights, and improve the students’ general welfare. Furthermore, it provides direct services to the student body. Rappler
Rappler (portmanteau of the words "rap" and "ripple") is a Filipino online news website based in Pasig, Metro Manila, the Philippines. It was founded by 2021 Nobel Peace Prize laureate Maria Ressa along with a group of fellow Filipino journalists as well as technopreneurs. It started as a Facebook page named MovePH in August 2011 and evolved into a website on January 1, 2012. In 2018, agencies under the Philippine government initiated legal proceedings against Rappler. Jose Manuel Tadeo "Chel" Icasiano Diokno (, born February 23, 1961) is a Filipino lawyer, educator, and human rights advocate. He serves as chairman of the Free Legal Assistance Group (FLAG), the founding dean of the De La Salle University College of Law (now Tañada-Diokno College of Law), and the chairman of the Bantayog ng mga Bayani Foundation. The enhanced community quarantine in Luzon was a series of stay-at-home orders and '' cordon sanitaire'' measures implemented by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) on the island of Luzon and its associated islands. It is part of the COVID-19 community quarantines in the Philippines, a larger scale of COVID-19 containment measures with varying degrees of strictness. The "enhanced community quarantine" (ECQ) is the strictest of these measures and is effectively a total lockdown. There were three instances of the ECQ being implemented in Luzon. Rocksteddy is a Filipino rock band signed to 12 Stone Records. History and singles Formerly known as Acoustic Faith, Rocksteddy was founded in March 2003 by fellow church members, a trio of Christian rockers including singer Teddy Corpuz, drummer Jeff Cucullo, and rhythm guitar Howie Ramos. In 2005, they decided to drop the Christian lyricism and acoustic style and turned to alternative rock.
