Pyatnashka Brigade
The Pyatnashka International Brigade, or simply the Pyatnashka , is a military unit of the 87th Rifle Regiment of the Russian Ground Forces. Until 1 January 2023, it was part of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). It is attached to the 1st Army Corps (Russia), 1st Donetsk Army Corps. It mainly consists of international volunteers. The brigade is led by Akhra Avidzba, an officer of Abkhazians, Abkhaz origin. History War in Donbas The battalion was formed in the summer of 2014. It was nicknamed "The Fifteen" in reference to the unit's original strength of 15 soldiers. The battalion would take part in the multiple battles of the War in Donbas. DPR People's Militia
The Donetsk People's Militia and Luhansk People's Militia (formerly also called Russian separatist forces in Donbas) are pro-Russian paramilitaries in the Donbas region of eastern Ukraine, which have been fighting the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Russo-Ukrainian War. During the Donbas War (2014–2022), they were affiliated with the self-declared Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) and Luhansk People's Republic (LPR). They supported the Russian military during the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine. In September 2022, Russia annexed the DPR and LPR, and the paramilitaries are being integrated into the Russian military. They are designated as terrorist groups by the Government of Ukraine. The separatist paramilitaries were formed during the 2014 pro-Russian unrest in Ukraine. The 87th Separate Rifle Regiment formerly known as the 119th Rifle Regiment is a military unit of Russian Ground Forces. Until January 1, 2023, it was part of the militia of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic. History The regiment was formed on 19 February 2022 as the 119th Rifle Regiment. 810th Guards Naval Infantry Brigade
The 810th Separate Guards Order of Zhukov Naval Infantry Brigade named for the 60th Anniversary of the Soviet Union (810 ''gv. obrmp'') (; Military Unit Number 13140) is a brigade of the Russian Naval Infantry. It is based in Sevastopol with one battalion in Temryuk, the brigade is the naval infantry brigade of the Black Sea Fleet. The brigade was formed as the 810th Separate Naval Infantry Regiment at Sevastopol in 1967 during the expansion of the Soviet Naval Infantry. It was expanded into the 810th Separate Naval Infantry Brigade in 1979, and remained stationed in Sevastopol as one of the Russian units based there under an agreement with Ukraine after the Soviet Union collapsed. Donetsk Sergei Prokofiev International Airport ( uk, Міжнародний аеропорт "Донецьк", Russian: Международный аэропорт "Донецк") is a former airport located northwest of Donetsk, Ukraine, that was destroyed in 2014 during the war in Donbas.
