''Publishers Weekly'' (''PW'') is an American weekly trade news magazine targeted at publishers, librarians, booksellers, and literary agents. Published continuously since 1872, it has carried the tagline, "The International News Magazine of Book Publishing and Bookselling." With 51 issues a year, the emphasis today is on book reviews. History Nineteenth century The magazine was founded by bibliographer Frederick Leypoldt in the late 1860s and had various titles until Leypoldt settled on the name ''The Publishers' Weekly'' (with an apostrophe) in 1872. PW (rapper)
Akheim Allen (born 30 May 1992) is a British rapper. He is of Grenada, Grenadian and Jamaican descent. One of eight children, Allen was nicknamed "Pee Wee"—later shortened to PW—by his older brother due to his height when he was younger. Career Akheim started rapping at the age of 13. After uploading videos to YouTube in 2010 PW began to attract more attention, with plays on BBC Radio 1Xtra, Choice FM and Capital Radio, Capital. Akheim supported Dappy on his 2011 UK tours, as well as embarking on a solo school tour. In 2012, PW opened for Conor Maynard and Mindless Behavior on tour, and the video for his track 'Single' was playlisted on major music TV channels, as well as Channel 4's Freshly Squeezed and video of the week on Kiss TV. Providence And Worcester Railroad
The Providence and Worcester Railroad (P&W; ) is a Class II railroad operating of tracks in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut, as well as New York (state), New York via trackage rights. The company was founded in 1844 to build a railroad between Providence, Rhode Island, and Worcester, Massachusetts, and ran its first trains in 1847. A successful railroad, the P&W subsequently expanded with East Providence Branch, a branch to East Providence, Rhode Island, and for a time leased two small Massachusetts railroads. In computer networking and telecommunications, a pseudowire (or pseudo-wire) is an emulation of a Point-to-point (telecommunications), point-to-point connection over a packet-switched network (PSN).
