Psychedelica Blues
''Psychedelica Blues'' is a Norwegian youth drama film from 1969 directed by Nils Reinhardt Christensen. Along with Øyvind Vennerød's '' Himmel og helvete'', it was the first Norwegian film that dealt with adolescents' use of narcotics, and it was the first Norwegian film to clearly depict the use of LSD. Because it was released after Vennerød's film, it received far less attention. Plot The story deals with four days in Lissy's life in which she finds an outlet for a rebellious urge that has built up over several years. Lissy comes from a sheltered home with a conventional father who is a municipal politician. In the new environment she slips into the circle around the jazz group The Blue Bells, where she meets Lillegutt (Little Boy). He is a key member of the gang and supplier of drugs. Espen Rud (born 29 January 1948 in Asker, Norway) is a Norwegian jazz musician (drums), composer, and music arranger, and the son of Norwegian author Nils Johan Rud (1908–93). He is known from numerous recordings and in collaboration with Karin Krog and Dexter Gordon, within Terje Rypdal's trio Min Bul, or the absurd musical theater of Svein Finnerud Trio. Anne Marie Ottersen Lindtner (born 29 April 1945) is a Norway, Norwegian actress. She has been working at Nationaltheatret (the National Theatre) since 1970, and acted in roles such as "Polly Peachum" in Bertolt Brecht's ''The Threepenny Opera'', and "Martha" in Edward Albees ''Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?''. Ottersen is well known from various roles on film and television. Randi Nilie Nordby Johnson (May 15, 1926 – March 28, 1991) was a Norwegian actress. She was engaged with the Oslo New Theater for many years. As an actress, she used her maiden name as her stage name. Career Randi Nordby started her career very early, and already as a child she was acting in Inga Bjørnson's children's theater. Helge Hurum (born 1 August 1936) is a Norwegian jazz musician, composer, arranger and musical director. Hurum has led several of Norway's key big bands, including the Oslo University Big Band (1969–74), Norway's Radio Big Band (1979–90), his own Helge Hurum Storband (1965–70), the EBU Big Band (1973), the Chateau Neuf Big Band and, in later years, the Oslo Big Band. Career Hurum studied at the Norwegian Academy of Music, and has practiced as an autodidact contemporary composer with his works being performed by orchestras such as the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra (Concentus ad Libitum, 1979) and a number of marching bands.
