Biagio Proietti (23 June 1940 – 12 March 2022) was an Italian screenwriter, director and writer. Life and career Born in Rome, graduated in law, Proietti started his career as an assistant director of Francesco Maselli in '' Time of Indifference''. Cristiana Proietti is a designer based in Los Angeles, creator of the cashmere clothing line "Cris". Biography Proietti was born and raised in Italy, and moved to North America in the late 80's. After working as the head designer and design director for many public companies such as Bebe Stores, bebe, Guess (clothing), Guess, and Arden B. In 2003, Proietti founded the now defunct agency Cristiana Proietti Design Studio (CPDS), a Los Angeles creative service created to service the fashion industry needs in the fashion industry. She decided to develop and distribute her own line of colorful contemporary and sexy cashmere wool, cashmere clothing. She debuted in New York City at the Fashion Coterie in 2004 and financed her own designs and distribution for "Cris" starting fall 2004. Cris was distributed at Barneys New York, Barneys, Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus in the USA, and at Harvey Nichold and Brown in the United Kingdom. References

Luigi "Gigi" Proietti (2 November 1940 – 2 November 2020) was an Italian actor, dubber, comedian, singer and television presenter. Early life He was born in Rome to Romano Proietti, originally from Umbria, and Giovanna Ceci, a housewife. During his youth, he was keen on singing and playing guitar, piano, accordion, and double bass at several Roman nightclubs. He enrolled in the Faculty of Law at La Sapienza University, where he attended the mimicry courses of the University Theatre Centre held by Giancarlo Cobelli, who immediately noticed his talent as a musician and booked him for an avantgarde play. Monica Proietti
Monica Proietti (; February 25, 1940 – September 19, 1967) was a Canadian bank robber and folk hero from Montreal, better known as "Machine Gun Molly" (in French: ''Monica la Mitraille''). Proietti came from a poor Montreal family, and many of her relatives were involved in crime; her grandmother served time in jail for receiving stolen goods, and reportedly ran a school for crime for the neighbourhood children in the Red-Light District. In 1956, at the age of 17, Proietti married Anthony Smith, a Scottish gangster (he was 33). The couple had two children. Smith was deported from Canada in 1962. She then became romantically involved with Viateur Tessier, but he was jailed in 1966 for armed robbery. When she was 19 four of her seven siblings perished in a fire in downtown Montreal.
