Professional Squash Doubles
Professional Squash Doubles is played with two players on each team. It is governed by The Squash Doubles Association (SDA) Pro Tour. The men's professional doubles started in 1938, while the women's professional doubles association formed in 2007. Men's Professional Doubles Professional doubles started in 1938 at The Heights Casino in Brooklyn, NY. It had a viable tour starting in the late 1970s with events located in both the United States and Canada. In 2000, the doubles pro tour rebranded itself with the new name, International Squash Doubles Association (ISDA), and again in 2012 as The Squash Doubles Association Pro Tour (SDA Pro Tour). It is the governing body responsible for the men's world professional squash doubles tour and celebrated its 75th anniversary of professional doubles in 2013. Mark Talbott
Mark Talbott is an American squash coach and former professional squash player. He is known as one of the all-time great players of hardball squash. Talbott was inducted into the United States Squash Hall of Fame in 2000. He was the World Professional Squash Association Player of the Year eight times and an Olympic Athlete of the Year in 1991, `92, and `95. In addition, he captained the first USA Team to compete in the Pan American Games in 1995, earned the Sharif Khan Award for Sportsmanship in 1991, and won the United States Squash Racquets Association (USSRA) President’s Cup in 1989. Dean Craig Brown, AO (born 5 April 1943) is a politician who served as the Premier of South Australia between 14 December 1993 and 28 November 1996, and also served as 10th Deputy Premier of South Australia between 22 October 2001 and 5 March 2002, representing the South Australian Division of the Liberal Party of Australia. John Nimick
John G. Nimick (born 1958) is an American squash player and tournament organizer. He was one of the leading hardball squash players in the United States in the 1980s. Following his retirement as a professional player, he has become a central figure in the development of professional squash in the United States. In 1981, Nimick captained Princeton University to a national title and won the national individual intercollegiate title. He won the US national championships in 1982. He then turned professional, and became a leading player on the North American hardball squash tour, winning several major titles. Kenneth Keith Binns is a former hardball squash player as well as tennis player from Newcastle, NSW, Australia. Born February 8, 1935 in Muswellbrook, NSW, Australia. George Cummings (July 28, 1938 in Meridian, Mississippi) is a guitarist and songwriter based in Bayonne, New Jersey and in recent years, Nashville, Tennessee. The Chocolate Papers Darryl Vincent and the Flares was formed in Meridian, Mississippi in 1956, and Cummings joined the group in 1959. In the 1960s, Cummings was a member of the Chocolate Papers, along with Ray Sawyer, Bill Francis, Bobby Dominguez, Popeye Phillips, and Jimmy "Wolf Cub" Allen.
