'' Primera Cita ''is the debut studio album by Latin boy band CNCO. It was released on 26 August 2016, through Sony Music Latin. The album was the recipient for the Lo Nuestro Award for Pop Album of the Year at the Premio Lo Nuestro 2017, 29th ceremony. Commercial performance The album debuted at number one on the Billboard Top Latin Albums, ''Billboard'' Top Latin Albums chart with first-week sales of 11,000 copies in the United States. It also accumulated over one million streams on Spotify in just hours after its release. ''Primera Cita'' was the best-selling Latin debut album of 2016 in the United States and Puerto Rico. The album also debuted in the top 10 in 15 countries, including number one in Bolivia, Ecuador and Guatemala. CNCO
CNCO was an American latin boy band based in Miami, Miami, Florida. The group consisted of Richard Camacho, Erick Brian Colón, Christopher Vélez and ZABDIEL, Zabdiel De Jesús; Joel DELEŌN, Joel Pimentel was a member until his departure in May 2021. They won a five-year recording contract with Sony Music Latin after becoming the winning competitors of the first season of ''La Banda (TV series), La Banda.'' The band toured with Ricky Martin. Their first two singles "Tan Fácil" and "Quisiera", charted well soon after their debut. The 3rd Annual Latin American Music Award, Latin American Music Awards were held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California. It was broadcast live on Telemundo. Recordland was one of Venezuela's largest music and video store chains. It was owned by Empresas 1BC, which is the same owner of Radio Caracas Radio and Radio Caracas Television (RCTV). Recordland opened in 1982 and only operated 1 store in Sabana Grande, Caracas. In 2019, As a result of the economic crisis that the country is going through and the rise of digital platforms, the only store in Caracas closed on December 15.
