Prague Open (1987–1999)
The Prague Open was a Grand Prix tennis circuit, Grand Prix and ATP Tour, ATP affiliated men's tennis tournament played from 1987 to 1999. It was held in Prague in the Czech Republic (formerly Czechoslovakia) and played on Clay court, outdoor clay courts. Karel Nováček and Sergi Bruguera were singles title holders as they won two editions each one. Vojtěch Flégl, Karel Nováček and Daniel Vacek were the doubles title record holders with two victories each one. Karel Nováček was also a singles and doubles winner in the same year, and so was Yevgeny Kafelnikov. 1992 HTC Prague Open
The 1992 HTC Prague Open was a women's tennis tournament played on outdoor clay courts at the I. Czech Lawn Tennis Club in Prague in the former Czechoslovakia that was part of Tier V of the 1992 WTA Tour. It was the only edition of the tournament with a prize money of $ 100.000, and it was held from 20 July until 26 July 1992. First-seeded Radka Zrubáková won the singles title. The Prague Open (currently branded as the Livesport Prague Open for sponsorship reasons) is a professional women's tennis tournament that is held in Prague, Czech Republic. It began in 2010, initially as an ITF Circuit $50,000 event upgraded to $100,000. It became a WTA International tournament in 2015, and the prize money increased to $250,000. The tournament is played on outdoor hardcourts, at the TK Sparta Prague. The tournament was held on outdoor clay courts., before 2021.
