André Arthur (December 21, 1943 – May 8, 2022) was a Canadian radio host and politician. He was the Independent politician, independent Parliament of Canada, Member of Parliament for the riding of Portneuf—Jacques-Cartier from 2006 to 2011. He has been described as the "godfather" of ''radio poubelle'' (trash radio), a style of politically conservative radio popular in Quebec City. Stoneham-et-Tewkesbury is a united township municipality in the Canadian province of Quebec, located in the regional county municipality of La Jacques-Cartier north of Quebec City. Its main attraction is the Stoneham Mountain Resort. The federal electoral redistribution of 2012 was a redistribution of electoral districts ("ridings") in Canada following the results of the 2011 Canadian census. Portneuf () is a municipality in the Portneuf Regional County Municipality, in the province of Quebec, Canada. It is located on the Saint Lawrence River, between Quebec City and Trois-Rivières. The Portneuf River runs on the east side of the town centre. The town of Portneuf is named after a seignory that was founded in 1636, and first settled in 1640. The municipal territory consists of 2 non-contiguous areas, separated by the municipality of Sainte-Christine-d'Auvergne. Cap-Santé () is a town in the Canadian province of Quebec. It is the county seat of Portneuf Regional County Municipality and was as well the county seat of the designated Portneuf County, Quebec, Portneuf County. The name of the town means "Cape Health". Shannon is a city in Quebec, Canada, and is along the Jacques-Cartier River northwest of Quebec City. Donnacona () is an industrial town located about west of Quebec City in Portneuf County, Quebec, Canada. History Some people believe the city was named after Donnacona, a 16th-century St. Lawrence Iroquois chief who was taken to France. The chieftain lived further down-river in Stadacona.
