Paul Hayden Desser (born February 12, 1971) who records as Hayden, is a Canadian singer-songwriter from Thornhill, Ontario. His early works are a largely eclectic mix of genres from grunge to alternative country, as demonstrated by his first full album, ''Everything I Long For'', released in 1995. Since then his work has become progressively more refined. Early life and education Desser's father is Sherwin Desser, a retired University of Toronto professor of parasitology and current visual artist. ''More of Our Stupid Noise'' was a Canadian compilation album, originally released on Squirtgun Records. It was subsequently rereleased in 1998 on Nettwerk with the title ''More of Our Stupid Noise '98'', with an altered track order and a few different songs. One of the album's most noted characteristics was that in addition to a song by Eric's Trip, it also included a song by each individual Eric's Trip member's own side project. Thornhill is a suburban district in the Regional Municipality of York in Ontario, Canada, split between the City of Vaughan (its western portion) and the City of Markham (its eastern portion), with Yonge Street forming the municipal boundary.
