Poblenou is a Barcelona Metro station in Poblenou, a formerly industrial area of Barcelona's Sant Martí district. The location of the station is in the intersections of Carrer de Pujades with carrer de Bilbao and carrer de Lope de Vega. It's served by L4 (yellow line). It was opened in along with the lines from Barceloneta to Selva de Mar. The platforms are long. Barcelona Metro
The Barcelona Metro (Catalan language, Catalan and Spanish language, Spanish: ) is a rapid transit network that runs mostly underground in central Barcelona and into the city's suburbs. It is part of the larger public transport system of Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia, Spain, with unified fares under the (ATM) scheme. As of 2024, the network is operated by two separate companies: (TMB) and (FGC). It is made up of 12 lines, combining the lines owned by the two companies. Two lines, Barcelona Metro line 9, L9 and Barcelona Metro line 10, L10, are being built at present, with both lines having different sections of each opened between 2009 and 2021. Poblenou
; ) is an extensive neighborhood of Barcelona’s Sant Martí (district), Sant Martí district that borders the Mediterranean Sea to the south, Sant Adrià del Besòs to the east, Parc de la Ciutadella in Ciutat Vella to the west, and Sant Andreu to the north. Originally, it was a town entirely separate from Barcelona proper. History During the Industrial Revolution of the 19th century, Poblenou was the epicenter of Catalan and Iberian industry, earning it its sobriquet of the ''Catalan Manchester''. Surrounding the extensive cluster of factories stood mostly working-class residential areas. Sant Martí (district)
Sant Martí (), is a district of Barcelona located on its eastern side, usually numbered 10 out of the ten districts of the city. It borders the Mediterranean Sea, Sant Adrià del Besòs and four other districts of the city: Ciutat Vella, l'Eixample, Horta-Guinardó and Sant Andreu. It did not become an integral part of Barcelona until as late as 1897, having been an autonomous village since 1714 with the imposition of the infamous Nueva Planta decrees. Carrer De Pujades, Barcelona
Carrer de Pujades and Passeig de Pujades, before 1900 rendered Pujadas, are respectively a street and a promenade in the Poblenou and Sant Martí de Provençals areas of Barcelona (Catalonia, Spain). Barceloneta () is a station belonging to line L4 of Barcelona Metro. It is located in La Barceloneta neighbourhood, close to the beach and Parc de la Ciutadella. This is the station nearest to Barcelona França railway station, one of the city's major railway stations and one of the R2 commuter line stops. The station is the least deep underground metro station in the whole system.
