Pierre Raschi
Pierre Raschi (born 21 February 1971) is a former French rugby union player who spent his whole professional career in Bourgoin, and is currently playing for Fédérale 2 club SO Voiron. He won the European Challenge Cup in 1997 and, the same year, he lost the final of the French championship against Toulouse. After retiring as a player, he became sport director and then coach of CS Bourgoin-Jallieu CS Bourgoin-Jallieu is a French rugby union club currently competing in the third level of the French league system, Nationale. The club have been runners-up in the French championship and the French Cup competitions, and have won the Challen ... until he was fired on April 15, 2008, after a series of bad results. He joined the amateur club of SO Voiron for the 2005–06 season but played only a few games. He returned for the 2008–09 season and has become a regular in the team. Number Eight (rugby Union)
In the game of rugby union, there are 15 players on each team, comprising eight forwards (wearing jerseys numbered 1–8) and seven backs (numbered 9–15). In addition, there may be up to eight replacement players "on the bench", numbered 16–23. Players are not restricted to a single position, although they generally specialise in just one or two that suit their skills and body types. Union sportive Oyonnax Rugby is a French rugby union club from Oyonnax in the Ain département of the région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, currently playing in Rugby Pro D2, the second division of the country's professional rugby system. The EPCR Challenge Cup is an annual rugby union competition organised by European Professional Club Rugby (EPCR). It is the second-tier competition for clubs based in European leagues behind the European Rugby Champions Cup. The Top 14 () is a professional rugby union club competition that is played in France. Created in 1892, the Top 14 is at the top of the national league system operated by the French National Rugby League, also known by its French initialism of LNR. There is promotion and relegation between the Top 14 and the next level down, the Rugby Pro D2. The fourteen best rugby teams in France participate in the competition, hence the name Top 14.
