Piel Salvaje
''Piel salvaje'' (English title: Wild Skin ) is a Venezuelan telenovela produced by RCTV for Televen. It is based on the telenovelas La Fiera and Pura Sangre written by Julio César Mármol, José Ignacio Cabrujas and Salvador Garmendia. The new version is adapted by Martín Hahn. Irene Esser and Carlos Felipe Álvarez star as the main protagonists while Carlos Cruz and Marjorie Magri star as the main antagonists. Televen began broadcasting ''Piel salvaje'' on 2 February 2016. On March 28, 2016, the telenovela debut in Africa on the channel ''Eva'' dubbed in English and Portuguese. Plot Camila Espino is an impulsive young woman who spent her childhood on the streets before moving to an orphanage as a teenager. She later finds a job at the cosmetic company ''Mascarada'' owned by Ezequiel López Méndez who has for years been at war with Fausto Aragón de la Rosa, owner of ''Capricho'', a rival cosmetic company. Telenovela
A telenovela is a type of a television serial drama or soap opera produced primarily in Latin America. The word combines ''tele'' (for "television") and ''novela'' (meaning "novel"). Similar drama genres around the world include '' teleserye'' (Philippines), '' téléroman'' (Canada, specifically Quebec), and '' sinetron'' (Indonesia). Commonly described using the American colloquialism Spanish soap opera, many telenovelas share some stylistic and thematic similarities to the soap opera familiar to the English-speaking world. The significant difference is their series run length; telenovelas tell one self-contained story, typically within the span of a year or less whereas soap operas tend to have intertwined storylines told during indefinite, continuing runs. This makes them shorter than most other television series, but still much longer than a miniseries. Televen
Televen is a private Venezuelan national television network headquartered on the Caracas neighborhood of Horizonte. For this reason it is also called 'Canal de Horizonte'. Televen was inaugurated as the ''TELEVEN Corporation'' (''Corporación TELEVEN, S.A'') on July 10, 1988 by Omar Camero Zamora and T Radioven, S.A. RCTV Telenovelas
Radio Caracas Televisión (RCTV) was a Venezuelan free-to-air television network headquartered in the Caracas neighborhood of Quinta Crespo. It was sometimes referred to as the Canal de Bárcenas. Owned by Empresas 1BC, Radio Caracas Televisión (RCTV) was inaugurated on 15 November 1953 by William H. Phelps, Jr. Its radio counterpart was Radio Caracas Radio. On 27 May 2007, president Hugo Chávez decided to shut down the channel by refusing to renew their broadcast concession, accusing the channel of being involved in the 2002 coup d'état in Venezuela, which briefly overthrew his government.
