"Pick Me" is a song by contestants of ''Produce 101''. It was released online as a digital single on December 17, 2015, by CJ E&M, along with a music video. It was unveiled for the first time on Episode 453 of ''M! Countdown'' that same day. The group was presented by Jang Keun-suk, and 98 out of 101 members showcased their talents through the song. The song was used in the South Korean legislative elections for the National Assembly. Composition "Pick Me" is an electronic dance music song, written by veteran composer Kim Chang-hwan under the pen name Midas-T, and composed by DJ Koo from K-pop legend duo CLON and Maximite. ''M Countdown'' () is a South Korean music program broadcast by Mnet from the CJ E&M Center Studio in Sangam-dong, Mapo District, Seoul. It features appearances by popular music artists who also perform live on stage. The Circle Digital Chart, previously known as the Gaon Digital Chart, is the music industry standard record chart ranking the 200 most popular singles in South Korea. It provides rankings on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis, which is based on an aggregate of streaming, downloads and background music from major South Korean music platforms, as well as video ringback tone sales from the V Coloring app. It is a part of the Circle Chart, previously known as the Gaon Chart. Clon () is a South Korean Electronic dance music, dance music duo that debuted in 1996. The group was extremely popular in South Korea in the late 1990s. Career The duo debuted as part of "Hyun Jin Young, Hyun Jin Young and Wawa" in 1990 but it wasn't until 1996 under the supervision of Kim Chang Hwan, a major figure in the Korean music industry, that they got together and formed Clon. Their debut album, "Are You Ready?", proved to be extremely popular. They were often credited for being one of the first groups to incorporate strong dance routines with catchy beats. Clon was produced through DreamBeat, a record label that was popular for other hit singers as well as bringing western music to Korea. In November 2000, a tragic and unfortunate motorcycle accident left Kang Won Rae paralyzed from the waist down. Koo Jun-yup (; born September 11, 1969), also known by his stage name DJ Koo, is a South Korean singer-songwriter and DJ. A member of K-pop duo CLON, Koo is one of the first-generation Hallyu stars and since the 2000s has pursued a solo career as a DJ and actor. Early life Koo was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. He has an older sister Koo Eun-yeong (). His parents divorced when he was eleven years old. He went to Seoul Sinjung Elementary School and Seocho Middle School.
