Phil Wallace
Phillip Owen Wallace BEM (born 22 October 1949) is a British businessman and chairman of EFL League One association football club Stevenage F.C. Business interests Phil Wallace is the CEO of Lamex Food Group, a global food trading company with 21 offices in 16 countries. He joined in 1972 when the company, then known as L+M Foods, was a small food importer based in London. He became a director in 1975 and was appointed managing director and majority shareholder in the early 1980s. Since then the company has added offices around the world and the continuing growth in the Group lead to a US$50 million management buyout in 2006, with Phil Wallace still retaining a significant holding in the newly formed parent, Lamex Food Group. He continues to lead the Group from his bases in the UK and US. British Empire Medal
The British Empire Medal (BEM; formerly British Empire Medal for Meritorious Service) is a British and Commonwealth of Nations, Commonwealth award for meritorious civil or military service worthy of recognition by the Monarchy of the United Kingdom, Crown. The current honour was created in 1922 to replace the original medal, which had been established in 1917 as part of the Order of the British Empire. Old Trafford () is a football stadium in Old Trafford, Greater Manchester, England, and is the home of Manchester United. Gary Neil Smith (born 3 December 1968) is an English football manager and former player who most recently managed Major League Soccer side Nashville SC. Smith's playing career began at Fulham, progressing through the youth team before making one first-team appearance for the club. After a brief spell with Colchester United, Smith joined non-league side Enfield in 1989. His most successful spell during his playing days was at Wycombe Wanderers, spending two seasons with the club. After a season with Welling United, Smith returned to the Football League in 1993, when he signed for Barnet. Following a spell at Aylesbury United, Smith retired as a professional player, with his career blighted through numerous injuries.
