Mike Pettine
Michael Mark Pettine (born September 25, 1966) is an American football coach who is the assistant head coach and outside linebackers coach for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL). He was the head coach of the Cleveland Browns from 2014 to 2015, and has also served as the defensive coordinator for the Buffalo Bills, New York Jets, and Green Bay Packers. Playing career Pettine earned all-state honors as a quarterback and defensive back at Central Bucks High School West. The head coach was his father, Mike Pettine Sr., who is renowned in Pennsylvania for compiling a record of 326–42–4 in 33 seasons and winning four state championships. Pettine played free safety at the University of Virginia graduating in 1988 with a bachelor's degree in economics. Giuseppe Pettine
Giuseppe Pettine (born ''Giuseppe Antonio Luigi Pettine''; in Isernia, Italy, 13 February 1874 – 1966) was an Italian-American concert mandolinist, teacher, and composer. Early life and career Pettine started to study the mandolin with Camille Mastropaolo at a very early age. After the Pettine family emigrated to the United States in 1889 and settled in Providence, Rhode Island, Giuseppe was regarded as a child prodigy of the mandolin because of his great concert appearances. Raffaele Calace (1863–1934) dedicated his First Mandolin Concerto op. 113 to Pettine, his fellow countryman and friend, in honor of his skills and passion for the mandolin. Pettine was a member of the Big Trio, a trio formed by guitarist William Foden, banjoist Frederick Bacon and Giuseppe Pettine on mandolin. Raymond James Pettine
Raymond James Pettine (July 6, 1912 – November 17, 2003) was a United States district judge of the United States District Court for the District of Rhode Island. Education and career Born in Providence, Rhode Island, Pettine received a Bachelor of Laws from Boston University School of Law in 1937 and a Master of Laws from the same institution in 1940. He was in the United States Army during World War II, from 1941 to 1946, thereafter remaining in the United States Army Reserve until 1966, achieving the rank of colonel in the Judge Advocate General's Corps. He was in private practice in Providence from 1946 to 1961. He was special counsel to the State Attorney General of Rhode Island from 1948 to 1952. He was an assistant state attorney general of Rhode Island from 1952 to 1961. He was the United States Attorney for the District of Rhode Island from 1961 to 1966.
