Peter Shilton
Peter Leslie Shilton (born 18 September 1949) is an English former professional association football, footballer who played as a goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper. His 31-year career included spells at 11 clubs and he has the unique distinction of playing over 1,000 English league games, including in excess of 100 for five different clubs. During his time at Nottingham Forest F.C., Nottingham Forest, Shilton won many honours, including two UEFA Champions League, European Cups, a UEFA Super Cup, the Football League First Division, First Division championship, and the EFL League Cup, Football League Cup. The Football League First Division was the top division of the Football League in England from 1888 until the end of the 1991–92 season, when its teams broke away to form the Premier League.
